Job description

The Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting finance, executive, and operational teams by ensuring data integrity, delivering actionable insights and driving financial reporting and operational excellence. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to collaborate across departments to build business intelligence dashboards and enhance reporting capabilities. The Data Analyst will also interpret data, identify trends and visualize findings to communicate insights effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Extract and process data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and reports generated from a variety of internal programs, external sources and software providers
  • Design and optimize enterprise-level reporting data workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency by cleaning data, identifying and correcting any errors, troubleshooting missing values and understanding the business to ensure data aligns with and validates business results & KPI’s
  • Analyze and interpret datasets using statistical analysis, focusing on trends and patterns
  • Develop and create reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders
  • Communicate visual representations of data using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to make insights understandable
  • Write and optimize SQL queries against large-scale datasets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide support for consolidated reporting and data driven decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver ad hoc analysis projects to address urgent business concerns as they develop utilizing data in real time
  • Support strategic objectives by establishing KPIs, refining key performance indicators and other quantifiable business objectives to measure the effectiveness of business initiatives
  • Partner with leadership and act as a business intelligence consultant to executives and other functional leaders to identify improvement opportunities and guide strategic planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field (Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related)
  • 3+ years of data analysis / business intelligence experience
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel
  • Experience in machine learning, predictive modeling, or statistical analysis
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP, Power BI, Tableau or other visualization tools
  • Demonstrated ability to understand manufacturing business needs and speak to technical and non-technical operational business groups
  • Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present and explain the significance of data to business stakeholders
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); NetSuite experience; Web proficiency.
