American Computer Services, Inc. is seeking a forward-thinking IT Data Analyst to join our team to deliver high-quality, scalable technical solutions for mission-critical workflows and support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives by transforming business requirements into data-driven solutions.

In this role, you will perform data analysis, validation, testing, and requirements gathering activities. Working within a dynamic environment, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-impact data solutions.

The ideal candidate is a technical expert who excels at translating complex business requirements into robust technical data specifications. You possess strong experience in Data Mapping, Lineage Analysis, and Relationship Modeling across multiple enterprise data sources. You are adept at analyzing and profiling data to identify quality issues and inconsistencies, ensuring that reporting and analytical solutions deliver accurate business results.

Additionally, you are proficient in leveraging relational databases, cloud-based data platforms, and modern business intelligence tools to drive data quality and support comprehensive testing workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working with relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SQL for data analysis, data validation, profiling, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience with Amazon Redshift or similar cloud-based data platforms.
  • Proficiency with Power BI or other enterprise business intelligence and visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated experience performing data mapping, lineage analysis, and relationship modeling across diverse data environments.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive data validation and testing procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting solutions.
  • Perform detailed data mapping, lineage analysis, and relationship modeling across multiple data sources.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including issue tracking, root cause investigation, and resolution coordination.
  • Partner closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
