Data Analyst

Position Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting reporting and analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision making across Copeland's business functions. This role partners closely with stakeholders throughout the organization to understand reporting needs, develop dashboards, and provide meaningful insights that improve operational performance.

The successful candidate will work with data from multiple enterprise systems, including Oracle ERP, Snowflake, and other business applications, to deliver reporting solutions that support manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and business operations. This role offers significant autonomy and visibility across the organization while supporting Copeland's ongoing transition from Tableau to Sigma.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business stakeholders.

  • Gather and analyze reporting requirements from users across multiple functional areas.

  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from enterprise systems including Oracle ERP, Snowflake, and other business applications.

  • Develop reporting solutions that support operational, supply chain, inventory, and management decision-making.

  • Create executive-level dashboards and KPI reporting.

  • Monitor and enhance existing reporting solutions to improve performance and usability.

  • Support the organization's migration from Tableau to Sigma reporting platforms.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards.

  • Manage multiple reporting requests while effectively prioritizing work and stakeholder needs.

  • Document reporting processes, business requirements, and analytical methodologies.

  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to support reporting and analytics initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related role.

  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

  • Experience working with enterprise data and ERP systems.

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical business users.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Snowflake.

  • Experience with Oracle ERP or other enterprise ERP systems such as SAP.

  • Manufacturing, distribution, inventory, or supply chain analytics experience.

  • Experience supporting executive-level reporting and dashboards.

  • Knowledge of SQL and data extraction techniques.

  • Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
