A Groups & Conference Trainee is responsible for supporting the planning and coordination of group bookings and events, ensuring an excellent Guest experience and smooth communication between departments.


What will I be doing?

As a Groups & Conference Trainee you are responsible for supporting in delivering an excellent Guest experience through the coordination of group bookings and events. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Support the coordination of group reservations and conference events

  • Assist in liaising with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth event execution

  • Maintain a high profile while being professional, polite, and helpful

  • Ensure all event details are accurately recorded and communicated

  • Support the preparation of function sheets and event documentation

  • Assist with site visits and client interactions when required

  • React promptly and deal with any last-minute changes or requests

  • Communicate any issues to the Groups & Conference Manager

  • Support administrative tasks related to events and bookings
