Job description

A Human Resources Trainee  will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the department's activities and projects.


What will I be doing?

A Human Resources Trainee  will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the department's activities and projects. Specifically, the intern will be responsible for performing the following tasks in accordance with the company's standards: 


o    Coordinate projects and activities with the department, and provide support and assistance. 
o    Maintain communication with the relevant departments (via email, phone, and in person) 
o    Assist team members with their requests 
o    Draft informational emails on behalf of the department 
o    Keep each department's filing system up to date: vacation schedules, calendars, etc. 
o    Assist with team member recognition activities 
o    Assist in coordinating company events
o    Support team members in training activities
o    Attend meetings
o    Be familiar with and follow emergency procedures when necessary; report unsafe conditions
o    Maintain a good working relationship with other departments and employees
o    Keep the work area clean and organized
