To thrive as an Event Designer, you need a strong background in creative design, spatial planning, and event production, often supported by a degree in event management, interior design, or a related field. Job description

Bear Event Design is a creative event design and décor company serving Denver and the Rocky Mountain region. We specialize in corporate events, experiential activations, and social celebrations, delivering high-impact environments through thoughtful design and precise execution.
As a member of our Event Crew, you are on the front line of bringing our events to life. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role responsible for executing installs, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring our products and environments meet the standard our clients expect. We move quickly, expect a lot from each other, and take pride in doing things the right way. This role is best suited for individuals who take ownership, operate with urgency, and care deeply about the quality of their work.
This role is directed by Event Leads and our Warehouse Manager, but success requires more than simply following instructions. You will be given clear priorities for the day, but what sets top performers apart are how you move through your work, manage your time, and drive tasks to completion.
Your responsibilities:
  • Support the loading and preparation of inventory for upcoming events, ensuring all items are packed accurately, safely, and efficiently for transport
  • Execute on-site installations including furniture, bars, drape, structures, and décor elements, following direction while maintaining awareness of quality, safety, and detail
  • Participate in event strike and load-out, ensuring all items are handled, packed properly, and returned to the warehouse in good condition
  • Represent Bear professionally on-site, maintaining a positive, respectful, and service-oriented presence in front of clients and partners
  • Maintain high standards of product care through cleaning, organizing, repairing, and returning inventory in the warehouse
  • Work across warehouse projects during non-event days, contributing to ongoing improvements, organization, and readiness for future events
  • Support your team by stepping in where needed, maintaining momentum, and contributing to a productive, positive work environment
Who you are:
  • A reliable, hardworking individual who shows up ready to contribute and be part of a team
  • Operate with a strong sense of urgency and ownership, with a strong internal drive to get things done without being asked repeatedly
  • Detail-focused and takes pride in the quality and completeness of your work
  • A team player who contributes to a positive environment and is willing to step in wherever needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with changing priorities
  • A problem solver who does not shy away from challenges and takes ownership of outcomes
  • Professional and self-aware, understanding that your attitude and conduct directly impact the client experience
  • Motivated to grow, learn new skills, and take on increasing responsibility over time
Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse and event sites
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs consistently and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Availability for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and occasional travel throughout Colorado
  • Willingness to work both in the warehouse and on-site at events
  • Experience in events, production, or hands-on environments is a plus, but not required
Why Bear?

This role is an entry point into our production team. Individuals who demonstrate strong ownership, consistency, and performance have the opportunity to grow into Event Lead roles and other specialized positions within the company over time.
  • Creative, collaborative team focused on high‑impact work in the event space.
  • Competitive compensation with Medical, Dental, & Vision Health Plans
  • HSA with Annual Employer Contribution
  • 401K with Employer Match
  • Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance

  • Starting at $22/hour, but higher rates based on experience and training goals
