Evening Receptionist

Part Time (4PM to 8PM)

The receptionist provides a positive first impression and quality customer service to residents, family members, applicants, visitors, vendors, and team members upon entering the community.ย

  • Manages a multi-line telephone system by answering calls in a timely manner, relaying messages accurately and in a courteous, customer friendly manner.ย 
  • Provides a positive first impression of the community to all customers.
  • Distributes and sends mail and faxes.ย 
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies.ย 
  • Assists managers in special projects and mailings as requested.ย 
  • Assists Executive Director and Business Office Manager as needed.
  • Maintains confidentiality of residentsโ€™ personal information in and out of the community and protects and supports residentsโ€™ rights.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor that encourages a positive nurturing environment for the residents, families, vendors, and guests.
  • Maintains a positive customer service environment and practices honesty and integrity in all aspects of performance.
  • Ensures adequate daily coverage for meal service by communicating with the Culinary Services Director and/or Host/Hostess, to include taking resident orders for meals, providing drink refills according to residentsโ€™ / guestsโ€™ requests, assists with the cleaning, resetting and preparation of the dining room in-between mealtimes.ย 
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or required.ย ย

High School Graduate or equivalent required.ย 

Working Environment/Physical Requirements

Environment is indoors in an open area office space with frequent distractions. Must be able to lift 20 pounds frequently when receiving and maintaining office supplies for store room.
