Job description

Position Overview:

The Tri-Cities Team Leader plays a critical role in leading and supporting the Title and Escrow operations across the Tri-Cities region, including Benton and Franklin Counties. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving team performance, and ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal regulations. This role partners closely with leadership to support strategic initiatives, maintain operational efficiency, and deliver a high level of service aligned with TitleOne's standards and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the escrow and title team by fostering a culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Provide clear expectations, priorities, and direction to ensure consistent performance, quality, and productivity.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, train, schedule, coach, and develop team members to support both individual and team success.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance evaluations, including recommending compensation adjustments when appropriate.
  • Lead and oversee daily operations of the Tri-Cities escrow and title team, ensuring work is completed accurately, timely, and in alignment with company standards.
  • Manage team capacity and workload distribution, including cross-training initiatives and staffing planning.
  • Coordinate responsibilities across escrow and title functions to meet deadlines and maintain high service levels.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for escrow and title operations.
  • Conduct periodic production meetings and perform regular file audits to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to escrow accounting controls, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including Department of Insurance guidelines and RESPA requirements. 
  • Maintain a strong understanding of title insurance products, underwriting standards, and title production systems.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to team structure, workflows, and processes to enhance operational efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and leadership to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
  • Interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels of team members, leadership, customers, and external partners. 
  • Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned. 
Required Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and variables.

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience leading escrow and/or title operations teams. 
  • Experience managing multi-function teams (title and escrow combined operations). 
  • Familiarity with TitleOne systems, workflows, and operational standards.
