A law firm specializing in real estate transactions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Escrow Account Specialist. The successful candidate will manage and oversee all escrow account activities, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and the firm's policies. This role requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and customer service skills to handle complex financial transactions related to property sales, purchases, and other real estate-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Escrow Accounts: Open, maintain, and close escrow accounts in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Document Review: Prepare and review all necessary documents for escrow transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including proper record-keeping and reporting.
  • Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the escrow process.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all employees to facilitate a smooth and timely closing process.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the escrow process along with working with third-party auditors to resolve issues.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and organized records of all escrow transactions and related documents.
