Job description

We're looking for an experienced professional to prepare closing loan packages for private banking clients, including portfolio and non-conforming mortgage products.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare and review complex high-value loan transactions including disclosures in compliance with TRID, Reg Z, and other applicable regulations
  • Partner with loan officers and internal teams to gather required information and move loans efficiently through the process
  • Review approval documents, title commitments, and other documents to ensure all loan requirements are met
  • Identify and resolve documentation gaps to ensure smooth closings
  • Manage multiple loan files simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Work in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Gain expertise in loan documentation and regulatory compliance while contributing directly to client success

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Loan document preparation or mortgage processing prior to closing
    • Mortgage or real estate title/escrow operations, with direct involvement in preparing loan documents and/or settlement statements
    • Real estate agent or transaction/contract coordinator experience, with hands-on preparation and management of contracts and/or closing documentation
      • Active real estate licenses must be placed in an inactive status upon hire
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office applications and loan documentation systems (Experience with LaserPro is preferred)
