Escrow Officer

What You Will Do:
  • The Escrow Manager is primarily responsible for completing all tasks and responsibilities associated with managing the day-to-day operations of the title company escrow operations and to effectively manage the real estate closing transaction for insuring title insurance, in accordance with state regulations, established company policies and procedures and underwriter guidelines.
  • Candidate must have extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations governing title operations. Manages, plans, directs, and oversees daily escrow operational tasks of the title company.
  • The Escrow Manager ensures guaranty file processes, procedures, and workflows comply established title company policies and procedures and in accordance with state/federal regulations.
  • Assists VP -- Title Operations in audits by the Department of Insurance and title underwriter review.
  • Oversees and monitors the accurate and timely balancing of all title company escrow accounts.
  • Responsible for the daily management of Title Company escrow staff. Responsible for achieving production, efficiency and quality goals in support of title company targets. Actively engaged in preparation of title company production and forecasts for senior title company management review and approval.
  • Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our company values.
What We are looking for:
  • Actively hold Escrow License for at least five (5) years.
  • Complete the required Continuing Education to maintain licensure.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of title operations and production experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of management experience.
  • Motivation skills to lead a team of high producing title operations staff to attain established production and quality goals.
  • Technical proficiency with a high-level knowledge of computer systems including title production software, and Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills and a high level of diplomacy in directing staff and client service.
