Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a short-term Epic conversion contract requiring both Cerner and Epic experience, CA licensure, and the ability to work 48-hour weeks on evening shifts.

Requirements
  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
  • Current ACLS (American Heart Association) certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
  • Moderate Sedation Training required
  • TNCC preferred
  • Both Cerner and Epic experience required within the last 5 years
  • Minimum 3 years of ER nursing experience required
  • Must have recent experience working in the ER specialty within the last 3 months
  • Must have previously completed a travel contract or worked as a permanent employee at an organization
  • Active, unrestricted RN license with no prior license hits
  • 2 supervisory references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
  • Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
Additional Information
  • This is an Epic conversion contract โ€” Cerner and Epic system experience is central to the role
  • No RTO (time off requests) will be approved; candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined
  • All employment gaps of one month or longer must be documented and explained in work history
