Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ Nights
Location: Durham, NC
Pay: $36โ€“$39/hour
Bonuses: $12,000 Retention Bonus (after permanent conversion)
Schedule: 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:30 AM - Rotating schedule (3 nights one week, 4 nights the next)
We are hiring a Night Shift RN for a behavioral health and crisis stabilization facility in Durham, NC. This is a 750-hour temp-to-hire opportunity with strong long-term potential.
What Youโ€™ll Do:
โ€ข Conduct nursing assessments and develop treatment plans
โ€ข Administer and monitor psychiatric medications
โ€ข Respond to crisis situations and assist with de-escalation
โ€ข Monitor chronic conditions (diabetes, BP, etc.)
โ€ข Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
โ€ข Complete accurate clinical documentation
This is a hands-on crisis environment working directly with individuals experiencing acute mental health and substance use challenges.
Qualifications:
โ€ข Active NC RN license (Compact preferred)
โ€ข Graduate of accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
โ€ข Minimum 1 year behavioral health experience
โ€ข Knowledge of psychiatric medications
โ€ข Must pass de-escalation training
