Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ Ambulatory Care / Infectious Disease Clinic

Location:ย Dallas, TX 75235
โฐ Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM (Day Shift, 5x8s)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (potential extension)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Ambulatory Infectious Disease Clinic.
This role is ideal for nurses with 1+ year of ambulatory clinic and triage experience, looking for a consistent weekday schedule in a collaborative, team-based environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient triage via Epic in-basket messages, phone calls, and MyChart communications.

  • Perform dressing changes for PICC lines and mediports.

  • Administer injection medications (IM and subcutaneous).

  • Support physicians and APPs in a busy ambulatory setting (~8 providers, ~4 APPs).

  • Assist occasionally with wound care procedures (rare).

  • Handle patient follow-up calls, refill requests, and related administrative tasks.


Qualifications
  • Active RN license โ€“ Texas or Compact state required.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an ambulatory/triage nursing role.

  • BLS certification (required).

  • Experience using Epic EMR (required).
