Job description

Skurnik Wines & Spirits is seeking an entry-level Compliance Coordinator to help ensure our wine and spirits products meet all federal and state requirements. The position focuses on assisting with licensing, brand registrations, reporting, and data management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to learn about the regulatory side of the wine and spirits industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and submitting brand registrations, renewals, and franchise filings for various states/markets.
- Help review new product entries in Navision (in-house software) to ensure the required compliance information is complete.
- Support the preparation of monthly state reports (such as gallonage reports) for timely submission.
- Update and maintain compliance records in Navision, including registration details, expiration dates, and deletions.
- Assist with maintaining accurate import data for the TTB's Craft Beverage Modernization Act (CBMA) program.
- Work with the team to organize supporting documentation for CBMA claims.
- Help monitor the compliance department email inbox and route inquiries to the appropriate team member.
- Provide general administrative and research support for compliance projects and regulatory filings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience working in a professional office setting
- Proficiency in professional emails, MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions and work within deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Industry experience preferred but not required
Skurnik Wines & Spirits offers a competitive compensation package with expected first-year salary between $60,000 - $65,000 not including a discretionary bonus and competitive benefits package. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.
