My grandpa, Stew Leonard Sr., opened the first Stew Leonard's food store in 1969 in Norwalk, CT and my family still runs the business today. I grew up surrounded by family and farm fresh foods. What goes great with delicious, quality food? Wine, of course! That is why, I couldn't be more excited to have Ryann's Wines located right next door to Stew Leonard's here in East Meadow! I hope you'll find Ryann's Wines to be an intimate and friendly local store offering a selection of products from around the world at great prices. Position Description:
Ensuring that product is checked in properly, shelves are stocked; exciting displays are built, and is available for customer's questions on the floor.
Your day-to-day:
  • Stocking shelves
  • building exciting displays
  • safely operates equipment such as hand trucks, uboats, conveyor, forklifts (where necessary)
  • Assist in inventory and store moves
  • signing off on PO's as deliveries arrive, ensuring accuracy
  • product placement in stores
  • helping to keep the store clean
  • knows the store's exclusive and focus items
  • capability to ring on register and cover other areas of the store
  • Ability to assist customers with the location of products in the store and basic wine pairings.
  • Assist with other store operations tasks- ie cleaning break area, restrooms, collecting carts, stocking bags and materials at register

A passion for the wine and spirits industry and a genuine interest in the products sold. Energy and enthusiasm to work, willingness to work in any area of the store that may need assistance, pride in your grooming standards, and a drive to give customers the best shopping experience to keep them coming back.
