Reports To: Director of Physician Recruitment
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Professional with an interest in Physician Recruitment. This role will primarily focus on sourcing to include identifying, engaging, and building a robust pipeline of qualified physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) to meet the current and future staffing needs of our healthcare system. This role will have the opportunity to grow into a Full-Cycle Recruiter to include Site Visits, Contracts and Onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Identification & Outreach
• Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract passive and active physician and APP candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks and internal databases.
• Source candidates through job boards, databases, residency programs, fellowship directories, professional associations, and social platforms (Doximity, LinkedIn, Health eCareers, AAPPR, etc.).
• Build and maintain active talent pipelines for high-priority specialties and hard-to-fill roles.
Lead Generation & Screening
• Pre-screen candidates for basic qualifications, interest, availability, location preferences, and compensation expectations.
• Document outreach activity, call notes, and candidate leads in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Forward qualified leads to physician and department leaders
• Track outreach metrics and pipeline performance
Talent Pipeline Management:
• Build, nurture, and maintain a strong talent pipeline within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platform for critical and recurring roles.
Brand & Candidate Experience Support
• Promote the health system's mission, culture, and value proposition in every interaction.
• Provide timely, professional communication and ensure candidates have a positive experience even in early contact stages.
• Support virtual and in-person recruiting events, career fairs, and digital campaigns.
Reporting and Metrics
• Report on key recruitment metrics (e.g., source-of-hire, time-to-fill, candidate pipelines) to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Update provider recruitment databases, lists, and sourcing pipelines.
• Assist with job postings, initial application processing, and scheduling when needed.
• Produce weekly sourcing reports showing activities, leads, and outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum experience needed. Prior work in health care, sales or a related field is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM platforms is required.
  • Strong command of online sourcing tools and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn, Doximity).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Confident, professional phone presence and strong interpersonal skills.

High comfort level with persistent outreach, follow-up, and initiating cold conversations.
