Job description

Location: Office located in Sandy, Utah
Department: Sales
Reports To: Director of Sales Development
Rivet and Role Overview:
Rivet is a venture-backed SaaS startup building vertical software for healthcare providers to make the U.S. healthcare system more transparent and efficient. Rivet is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As an SDR, you'll play a critical role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying leads. You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to ensure the growth of our pipeline and help us connect with organizations looking to enhance their healthcare operations.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Research, prospect, and identify potential customers.
  • Outbound Outreach: Execute outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social selling to engage potential customers.
  • Qualify Leads: Conduct discovery calls to qualify leads, understand their pain points, and determine if Rivet's solutions are a good fit.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales team to transition qualified leads into the sales pipeline and ensure smooth handoffs.
  • CRM Management: Track all lead interactions in Hubspot, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for follow-ups and reporting.
  • Sales Enablement: Assist in the development and refinement of outreach strategies, messaging, and sales collateral.
  • Market Feedback: Share insights with the product and marketing teams to help refine messaging and improve customer targeting.
Requirements
  • Great entry level job for someone looking to get into sales at a great company
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and build rapport.
  • Drive & Motivation: A self-starter who is highly motivated to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software (Hubspot)
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Resilience: Comfortable with rejection and able to maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the healthcare landscape, including providers, payers, and health tech trends, is a plus but not required.
Why Rivet?
  • Healthcare administration is awful and we're making a dent in that ever-so-important universe, reimagining the financial and revenue cycle technology stack for healthcare's hardest jobs. Where other products stop, we begin.
  • Ownership and accountability - we'll give you the reigns and hold you responsible for delivering great results (while helping you along the way).
  • Wear lots of hats - we're small and scrappy, so you'll learn first-hand about the different aspects of a SaaS company.
  • Work with a best-in-class team - we're driven, smart, hard-working, and we have a ton of fun together.
  • Be yourself - we recognize and celebrate our differences and want you to bring your full self to work.
  • Mentorship - our leaders and fellow Riveteers will challenge and support your growth and development.
  • Great benefits - including 100% of healthcare premiums paid, strong HSA contributions, stock options, PTO, and more.
