Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Project Controls Specialist

Location w/ physical address if possible: Akron, OH 44308

Contract Length: 6 months to extension

Extra Info & Spec (insert below):

Description: This position is responsible for preparing project cost reports; reviewing project invoices and coordinating payment with internal accounting department; preparing and updating project schedules. Other duties as assigned.

 Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, accounting, or related field from accredited program. Entry-level position (zero to two years of professional experience). Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Previous internship and/or related consulting experience preferred. 





Qualifications

- financial forecast & budgeting

- monthly accruals

- ad hoc reporting

- creating tools for other groups

- need high energy level personality (no need for utilities industry) need to be able to take initiative

- 2-4 year range, based on the rate \|/ could look at less experience if right personality

- team consists of 3 others in this same role, with a lead that reports to the hiring manager

- last hire on the team (5 months ago) shadowed for the first month, then when out on her own

- need previous experience doing forecasting/budgeting and working on monthly accruals
