Entry Level, Associate or Experienced Procurement Agent

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level, Associate, or Experienced Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri, Mesa, Arizona, or Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.

Position Responsibilities - Entry Level 1:

  • Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities

Position Responsibilities - Associate Level 2:

  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 3:

  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 1 year of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • More than 1 year of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
  • More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • More than 3 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
  • More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
  • More than 3 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts
  • Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Entry Level 1: Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Associate Level 2: Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experienced Level 3: Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range for Experienced Level 3:
