Zing is seeking a Procurement & Contracts Specialist to support a fast-paced Finance Division responsible for purchasing activities, contracts, vendor coordination, and procurement administration.
This is an excellent opportunity for administrative professionals, procurement coordinators, purchasing assistants, contract administrators, and operations specialists who enjoy managing multiple priorities, working with vendors, maintaining accurate records, and supporting critical business functions.
What You'll Do - Assist with preparing, editing, updating, and maintaining procurement forms, templates, and related documents
- Support vendors and consultants using the OpenGov e-procurement platform
- Maintain procurement records, requisition logs, trackers, and related documentation
- Obtain vendor quotes and assist with purchasing requests
- Research products, specifications, pricing, and availability
- Monitor insurance certificates, subscriptions, vendor documentation, and renewal dates
- Route contracts and supporting documents for review and approval
- Coordinate electronic signatures through DocuSign
- Communicate with internal departments, vendors, consultants, and external partners
- Coordinate rental vehicle and car-share requests
- Assist with electronic file management, document organization, and meeting coordination
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance Division
What We're Looking For - 1+ years of administrative, procurement, contracts, operations, or related experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Basic mathematical and business administration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with procurement, purchasing, contract administration, or vendor management
- Experience using ERP, procurement, or purchasing software systems
- Familiarity with OpenGov or similar e-procurement platforms
- Experience supporting finance, operations, or administrative departments
EducationBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education, training, and recent, relevant industry experience is required.
