As aย Sales Development Representative, you will assist in generating new business by qualifying inbound leads and driving various outbound campaigns but, more importantly, you will focus on the development of the individuals qualifying those leads. Sales Development roles exist in each of the LinkedIn divisions (see below).ย

As a Sales Development Representative, you will assist in generating new business opportunities by qualifying inbound leads and/or driving various outbound campaigns and creating the pipeline for the growing business in the region.ย 

What You'll Do:ย 

Qualify and develop inbound and/or outbound sales leadsย 

Run campaigns to generate new sales prospectsย 

Complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in SalesForce.comย 

Work with the Account Executive team to design industry-specific outbound efforts and define the best strategy to approach new leadsย 

Schedule demonstrations between account executives and potential customersย 

Use the best social selling techniques (Sales Navigator) to identify sales leads and be able to prospect into themย 

High volume of calls with Decision Makers to identify the "pain", which could be addressed by LinkedIn Corporate Solutionsย 

Responsible for the majority of the Account Executive pipelineย 

Qualifications

Basic Qualificationsย 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, lead generation or sales operationsย OR High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or equivalent.ย 

Preferred Qualifications:ย 

  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platformsย 

  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)ย 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and telephone skillsย 

  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervisionย 

  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and read situations wellย 

  • Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade othersย 

  • Ability to develop compelling strategies that deliver results with a strong attention to detailย 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environmentย

The pay range for this role is $64,000ย to $92,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
