Job description

Focal Point Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to help expand our presence in the K-12 education sector by securing contracts for 1:1 nursing and healthcare support services within school districts.

This is NOT an entry-level sales position.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successfully securing school-based healthcare contracts. Experience selling to long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living facilities, physician offices, or other healthcare settings will not be considered a substitute for school contract experience.

Minimum Requirements:

✅ 5+ years of experience securing school district contracts

✅ Proven history of closing contracts for:

  • School Nursing Services
  • 1:1 Student Nursing
  • Healthcare Staffing within K-12 School Systems

✅ Must be able to provide examples of contracts personally secured

✅ Strong understanding of school district purchasing and decision-making processes

✅ Extensive experience using HubSpot CRM

✅ Ability to create and manage your own:

  • Prospecting campaigns
  • Marketing emails
  • Follow-up sequences
  • Outreach strategies

✅ Must reside on the East Coast

✅ Must be available to start within one week of offer acceptance

What We Are Looking For:
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision requirements
  • Highly organized and accountable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to identify and engage key decision-makers
  • Consistent follow-up and pipeline management
  • Strong understanding of school-based nursing programs and Exceptional Children's services
Compensation:
  • Part-Time Position
  • Salary-Based Compensation
  • Commission Opportunities Available After 90 Days
Important:

We have hired BDRs in the past who overstated their experience, failed to meet expectations, or disappeared during the sales process. As a result, this position is best suited for a seasoned professional who can demonstrate results, work independently, and immediately contribute to business growth.

There will be limited training provided. We are hiring for expertise, experience, and execution.

If you meet the qualifications and have a proven history of securing school contracts, please send your resume and a summary of your relevant experience.
