What you'll do:

Are you a go-getter and detailed-oriented?  Willing to dig in and work on whatever needs to be handled within the scope of this entry-level position?   A self-starter who thrives in an environment where you can continue to learn and grow?  We're looking for an Associate Business Operations Specialist to engage in a role that directly supports JMP Business Operations to achieve the strategic goals of the organization. You will research and maintain standard and non-standard global data with a business acumen mindset in support of sales activities.

 You will: 

  • Leverage internal knowledge of corporate tools/systems, processes/procedures, methodologies, and best practices to support global sales business operations.
  • Support validation of legal entity at a specific location with new and updated data using a variety of research methods to ensure accuracy.
  • Build relationships with internal clients that characterize partnership, cooperation, and trust.
  • Support initiatives related to continuous improvement and streamlining of business operations processes.

 What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Results-oriented, self-starter with the ability to manage a heavy workload in a task-driven environment.
  • Tenacious and willing to independently carry out responsibilities associated with assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and synthesize data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement changes in new processes and technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment without sacrificing quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in creating, maintaining, and manipulating Excel spreadsheets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Powerpoint.
  • You're curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable.

  • Experience identifying the legal entity and related corporate family through research tools such as Dun & Bradstreet
  • Prior experience with a CRM system (ex. Salesforce)
  • Prior experience supporting a Sales Environment
