Energy Efficiency Consultant

Job Category: Energy Efficiency Specialist

Work Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite: Tuesday & Wednesday; remaining days remote)


Job Summary

We are seeking an Energy Efficiency Consultant to support the development, promotion, and implementation of energy efficiency programs within the utility sector. This role focuses on project coordination, customer engagement, and lead development for electric and natural gas efficiency initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and passionate about renewable energy and sustainability. This position plays a key role in helping customers identify and implement energy-saving opportunities while meeting program goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project and program management support for energy efficiency initiatives
  • Engage with customers, internal teams, and project stakeholders to drive program participation
  • Assist in the development and promotion of energy efficiency programs
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities (sales/lead generation focus)
  • Track project progress, maintain documentation, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate activities between departments to ensure successful program delivery
  • Support utility-based initiatives in both electric and natural gas sectors
