POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Manager is responsible for utilizing their knowledge of corporate sales strategies and Gentex product lines to support sales goals and maintain assigned accounts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support corporate sales goals and promote growth in designated product areas.
  • Support and promote new customer opportunities.
  • Create and contribute to global sales strategies.
  • Negotiate commercial sales items in an effective manner that supports global sales strategy.
  • Develop understanding of customers' organizational structure.
  • Meet with customer teams on a regular basis to gather information and promote Gentex and its products.
  • Represent the "voice of the customer" to internal teams.
  • Process customer Requests for Quotation, with internal teams.
  • Prepare Customer Quotations.
  • Coordinate closely with all internal stakeholders.
  • Form effective and lasting global relationships both internally and externally.
  • Effectively manage customer relationships to balance requests and expectations with Gentex capabilities and corporate goals.
  • Prepare sales presentations for global internal and external audiences.
  • Support the product development process and project realization process.
  • Prepare expense reports.
  • Support customer-led events and attend industry trade shows.
  • Entertain customers when appropriate.
  • Process necessary documents with Gentex Legal Team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.

WHAT TO BRING

  • 2-year degree in related field, 4-year degree preferred.
  • PCBA experience
  • Automotive sales experience
  • Experience in the Automotive industry in a related job function.
  • Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally, as necessary.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
