Job description

Distributor Sales Engineer - Low Voltage Products
Position Overview
Siemens Low Voltage and Products is seeking a Distributor Sales Engineer (DSE) for the Chicago market and its surrounding area. The DSE will manage a multimillion-dollar sales ml
quota, focusing on driving stock product sales through aligned channel partners. This position reports to the Regional Channel Manager and does not include direct reports.
Distributor Sales Engineer - Low Voltage Products
This position will be remote/hybrid in the Chicago market.
Role Description
  • Develops and implements plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty.
  • Pursues long-term account strategies with new and existing channel partners to maximizes revenue growth.
  • Cultivates long-term relationships with the appropriate key account stakeholders
  • Develops a complete understanding of the organizations structure and key buying influences of assigned accounts
  • Performs client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings.
  • Provides management with suggestions for improving volume, market share and price levels.
  • Product support to include but not limited to; Residential Products, Safety Switches, IEC/NEMA Control, Panelboards, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, and Motor Control Centers.

Basic Qualifications
  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Travel required 30%.
  • 1 to 3+ years of Electrical Distribution Sales or Sales Support experience
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS degree in electrical engineering

The pay range for this position is $61,547.00 - $105,509.00 annually plus an uncapped commission structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
