Our team in Woburn, Massachusetts, is seeking an entry level Cybersecurity Analyst.  This is an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking a future career in cybersecurity or information assurance. This position is for a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst to manage various non-technical operational tasks and support the administrative compliance of classified Information Systems. You will collaborate with and support the Cybersecurity Managers / Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs) and Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs) to ensure adherence to all DOD regulatory policies.

You will have access to a variety of classified materials producing documentation and tracking information, which helps to keep our nation and allies safe by ensuring adherence to all Department of Defense (DoD) policies using the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM Chapter 8).

What You Will Do

  • You will be primarily responsible for supporting front-line user support, user access management workflows, system change requests, records management, and maintenance/delivery of information systems security education, training, and awareness.

  • You will also assist in gathering metrics, data entry, managing program and user requests, and supporting other work in support of system compliance.

  • You will utilize your administrative/data entry skills to support configuration management (software/hardware) and IS Lifecycle Management.

  • The position routinely collaborates with cross-function teams as well as with program personnel while supporting the Cyber Operations team.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience. 

  • Relevant experience, in any combination, as described below:

    • Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening, and/or information technology

    • Experience working with and/or supporting computer technologies (such as: databases, operating systems, computer network hardware, software programs, hardware troubleshooting/manufacture or electronics)

    • Compliance-based auditing from the Military or DoD industry and/or non-defense regulations such as FAA, Payment Card Industry (PCI), ISO 9001 Quality Management standards, or HIPPA

    • Physical security/security, policework/criminal justice, investigations, or Border Patrol

    • Data entry, experience interpreting and documenting metrics, project or program management, office management, senior office or executive administration, and/or account management

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to proactively identify process gaps and implement improvements

  • Self-motivated and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting evaluation results

  • Customer focused, adaptable and willing to work varying assignments

  • Experience with training, records, or compliance management

  • Experience working in DoD classified operating and/or laboratory environments

  • IAM Level I certification (Security+ or other)

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance as stipulated by NISPOM/DAAPM, JSIG, ICD 503, STIGs and associated NIST publications

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
