BASIC FUNCTIONS

As an Inside Distributor Sales Representative at Blue Raven Solutions, you play at pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude. Your primary responsibilities include quoting prices for in-stock items, managing a designated customer base, responding to heavy email and phone inquiries, and processing sales orders with precision. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Support the creation/building of long-term relationship with customers.
  • Performs order entry, reviews and processes orders, and create credit requests.
  • Create processes and maintain a variety of reports pertaining to specific clients.
  • Provide timely and accurate quotes for in-stock items.
  • Respond promptly to heavy email and phone activity, demonstrating a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude in all customer interactions.
  • Manage a defined customer base, establishing and maintaining strong relationships by proactively addressing customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Efficiently process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while collaborating with various teams.
  • Interfaces with clients, account managers and internal departments to assist in resolving client-related administrative issues.
  • Identifies delays or problem areas, and suggests solutions for resolving issues.
  • Gather competitive information, and provide feedback on customer satisfaction, as well as recommendations to improve procedures.
  • Provide essential administrative support to the sales team.
  • Maintain customer database.
  • Help track individual customer quality and delivery ratings.
  • Comply with all customer quality requirements.
  • Support a safe work environment, using safety equipment, ensure safety equipment used in the areas is proper, safe, and used in a productive manner.
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and safety standards.
  • Perform other related duties and personnel backups as assigned and contributes to team effort.

STANDARD REQUIREMENTS

Comply with all requirements of International Standard ISO9001 and ISO27001, NIST 800-171, CMMC – Cyber Security and Informational Data Security Requirements. Aerospace Management System Standards AS9100, AS9120, IDEA-QMS-9090, ASA-100 and supporting construct standards AS6081, IDEA-STD-1010, AC7402-CAAP, CCAP-101, FAA AC00-56, ANSI/ESD S20.20. All employees shall commit and comply with the requirements of AS5553 for Counterfeit Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) Parts – Avoidance, Detection, Mitigation and Disposition practices.
