Overview
Cummings Electrical is hiring a Senior Electrical Account Manager in Houston, TX.
Currently seeking a Senior Electrical Account Manager to lead a team of service electricians. The SAM will oversee, guide, and manage the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers and employees. Responsibilities include efficient coordination and planning, to ensure that the team provides consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for multiple projects. This person will ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for promoting environmental stewardship and a work culture focused on health and safety. This position will also work closely with the company's management team in a decision-support capacity.
Responsibilities
  • Minimum 5 years or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or related field is preferred or previous work as Licensed Electrician/Supervisor
  • Must be capable of leading a team of up to 20 electricians
  • Experience with Electrical / Power Systems such as UPS, Switchgear, Generators, PDU's; a MUST
  • Managing Projects for Electrical installation of Equipment for high profile projects is a plus
  • Customer Service Driven
  • Computer Savvy (Microsoft Suite, MS Project, etc.)
  • Solid Communicator - excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Monitor the performance and progress of staff, motivate, organize and encourage teamwork to ensure productivity targets are met
