Job Summary

Account Manager

As an Account Manager, you'll report directly to the Branch Service manager in a clientfacing role that requires building strong relationships both in and outside the office. You'll develop through handson experience, peer collaboration, and ongoing technical training. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Position Requirements:

  • Applicant must be familiar with a variety of the electrical field's concepts, practices, best practice, and procedures including the technical ability to understand and interpret Electrical Codes, Life Safety Codes, NFPA, Uniform Building Codes and Lighting Systems where applicable
  • Experience and knowledge of electrical applications, permits, electrical maintenance goals, Facility Maintenance Application & PM standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) with diverse individuals and to consistently handle interpersonal situations in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Excellent organizational ability to prioritize, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to provide accurate documentation.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite and have the ability to learn new software applications and computer programs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage customer relations with all current and potential customers.
  • Create and deliver customers with written quotes as required.
  • Maintain open and positive communication (both in verbal and written form) with employees, departments, customers, and vendors.
  • Maintain appropriate workload distribution to meet customer and business needs.
  • Develop and foster new relationships with prospective customers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and recommend policy changes as needed.
  • Management of all service personnel working on your key accounts.
  • Maintain high-quality service delivery in an efficient, productive, and profitable manner. Maintain ongoing maintenance schedules for service accounts.
  • Organize, coordinate, and schedule all scheduled maintenance, replacement, and Customer service work orders.
  • Assist or assign assistance for technicians on accounts to ensure work quality.
  • Prepare reports on account status
