Job description

Capital City Electrical Service is seeking an Estimator/ Account Manager who will be responsible for the development of recurring sales through new prospects and the retention and growth of existing customers. This position must be able to work closely with other departments and team members.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

This person must have (5) years of commercial electrical experience and (5) years of outside B2B professional sales experience, flexibility to collaborate and multi-task with other Account Managers to help provide estimates. Must be up to date with current code expectations. Ability to provide quotes to customers and Account Managers in a timely manner using our in house bid estimator (EBM). This is a salary position plus commission with potential management growth.
The focus will be On Demand, day to day commercial service, and small projects up to $100k or less. It is primarily a field oriented working environment and the employee is expected to spend time in researching, contacting, and securing relationships with new customers to grow the companyโ€™s customer base and to maintain existing relationships through regular contact and customer relations activities. Their goal is to meet or exceed the assigned annual quota. Compensation is on a salary plus commission basis defined by the Outside Sales Representative Compensation Plan. Additional end of year incentives given for achieving certain goal levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTIBILITIES

โ€ข Access new service clients through personal relationships, online Professional Business Networking, and other appropriate methods to sell electrical service needs on a regular basis.
โ€ข Respond to qualified incoming leads approved by Sales Manager in a timely fashion.
โ€ข Contact leads, make face-to-face upfront contract meetings.
โ€ข Establish final estimated pricing and present proposals to decision making customers.
โ€ข Ability to close deals, enter work orders and small projects into the companies HubSpot CRM properly.
โ€ข Compile proper documentation for work orders and submit to the Service Manager for approval
โ€ข Provide accurate Yearly and Monthly Forecasts to the Sales Manager
โ€ข Meet or exceed assigned quota and margin requirements
โ€ข Additional duties: emergency on call

TERRITORY ASSIGNMENT(S)

โ€ข This is a customer-based territory not a geographic territory.
โ€ข The focus is Atlanta, Ga with a 70-mile radius.

REQUIRED SKILL SETS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

โ€ข Two (5) yearsโ€™ experience as an electrical estimator or five (7) yearsโ€™ experience working in the electrical trade in a relevant capacity as determined by the Leadership.
โ€ข The professional ability to comfortably communicate and negotiate with various levels of decision makers with a company.
โ€ข Ability to work in a strong flexible, multi-task team environment.
โ€ข A high level of personal organization skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
โ€ข A clean and valid driverโ€™s license and background check.
โ€ข A presentable personal vehicle in good repair and with adequate insurance.
