Job description

Single Plaintiff Employment Litigation Associate Attorney (3-7+ years)

Seeking associates/senior counsel with employment litigation experience, including:

  • Defending single plaintiff harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims, charges, and lawsuits in state and federal court
  • Defending complaints and charges before the CRD, EEOC, and/or California Labor Commissioner
  • General employment-related advice and counsel
  • Preparing and responding to discovery requests
  • Conducting and defending depositions
  • Law and motion work: preparing and responding to dispositive motions, moving to compel arbitration, and discovery-related motions
  • Preparing case evaluations for clients
  • Proactive handling and/or management of cases
  • Preparing for and attending mediations, preparing mediation briefs
  • Attending court hearings, status conferences, arguing dispositive motions
  • Arbitration and trial experience
  • Excellent research and writing skills

Candidates must be admitted to practice law in the State of California.
