Purpose of the Position:
The ECF Personal Support Staff will provide assistance in the home with bathing, dressing, feeding, and other activities of daily living including some assistance with household cleaning and the maintenance of a safe home.
Major Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate respect for Recipient and their family
- Personal Support Staff is responsible for providing personal care assistance to the Recipient in accordance with the Division of Intellectual Disabilities.
- The Personal Support Staff will assist the Recipient with all services authorized by the plan of care.
- Maintain documentation for the Recipientโs objectives according to the plan of care
- All other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years of private duty, home health, or facility experience required.
- Ability to build rapport with members, employees, and all other benefactors.
- Computer skills required. Extensive organization and problem-solving skills.
Job Competencies
- Basic computer and internet literacy with the ability to utilize applications like emails, time recording and other programs to enter and retrieve data as necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Two years of experience working with individuals with IDD and/or Mental Health issues
- Understanding of trauma, trauma-informed care, and the creation of trauma-informed environments
- Valid driverโs license.
- Subject to employment clearances, including FBI clearance, if applicable.
