What are DSP Day Programs?

DSP Day Programs are services provided by Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) that offer structured activities, skill-building, and community engagement opportunities for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities during daytime hours. These programs are designed to promote independence, socialization, and personal growth in a supportive environment. DSPs assist participants with daily living skills, recreational activities, and sometimes vocational training. The goal is to enhance quality of life and help individuals reach their fullest potential while providing respite for families or caregivers.
