Job description

ANIBIC, Inc. is seeking Community Habilitation DSP's to empower and teach adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

**PART-TIME** * *FLEXIBLE* * 6 TO 20 HOURS PER WEEK **

Our Direct Support Professionals assist and empower adults with intellectual and physical disabilities in their home setting and in the community so that they can be as independent as possible! By doing so, the Community Habilitation DSP's provide much-needed support in the community.

Our DSP's provide assistance and support to people in areas such as advocacy, quality of life & community inclusion goals in their homes throughout Queens.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The Comm Hab DSP must be able to reliably commute to various locations using their personal vehicle.
  • Must have prior experience working as a Direct Support Professional.
  • HS Diploma / GED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in human services related field preferred for Day Hab positions.
  • Prior experience working independently.
