ACCOUNT MANAGER/DRIVER MANAGER
TFSL Trucking is growing and looking to add another Account Manager/Driver Manager to our team. We currently have an opportunity for an Account Manager/Driver Manager.
As an Account Manager/Driver manager you will be responsible for managing relationships with key TFSL clients, ensuring their logistics needs are met by coordinating shipping services, deliveries, and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts, while maintaining strong communication with both clients and drivers to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities of a TFSL Account manager/Driver manager:
  • Primary source of communication with drivers, including, but not limited to, load information, purchase orders, maintenance coordination, performance counseling and dissemination of general company news and information.
  • Ensure that each driver has an adequate understanding of all details of customer requirements and company expectations.
  • Responsible for effective management of the assigned fleet of tractors and drivers that will yield optimum performance including, but not limited to, the following categories:
    • On-time pickup and delivery performance
    • Out of route miles
    • Hours of service compliance
    • Driver availability
    • Accommodation of special routing needs
  • Cost control focus
  • Daily accounting of all assigned trucks and drivers and ensure the highest possible utilization.
  • Client Relationship Management:
      • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, understanding their transportation requirements and challenges.
      • Function as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing updates on shipments.
      • Manage account documentation, including invoices, and shipping details.

  • Effective communication skills: Effectively interact with clients, drivers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Customer service focus: Prioritize client and driver satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
