Can you get a job with a temporary driver's license?

Employers usually require a valid, permanent driver's license and relevant driving experience. Having a temporary license may limit eligibility until a permanent license is obtained.

For drivers temp positions, some companies are known for their straightforward hiring processes and quick onboarding, often requiring a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), clean driving record, and basic training. Larger or less selective companies may have less stringent requirements, making it easier for new drivers to get hired quickly. However, ease of hiring can vary based on location, experience, and current demand.
