Job description

Adecco is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Delivery Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, delivery scheduling, and team performance for a premier client in Whitmore Lake, MI. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring products are received, stored, staged, and delivered accurately and on time while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has experience managing warehouse personnel, coordinating logistics, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced building materials environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise warehouse and delivery team members.

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and deliveries.

  • Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate customer service.

  • Oversee loading and unloading activities and ensure safe material handling practices.

  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.

  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse and delivery personnel.

  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA standards.

  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficiency.

  • Coordinate with sales, service, and installation teams to prioritize customer needs.

  • Monitor delivery vehicle maintenance schedules and compliance requirements.

  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of team members.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and customer satisfaction.

This position is a first shift role paying up to $27 hourly.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
