Job Description

The will call counter services all aspects of pre-placed customer orders including picking, staging, and invoicing of orders. Additional responsibilities may include helping out others with special projects or duties as assigned by management. Additional duties include checking deliveries for accuracy, delivering customer orders and putting away stock promptly.

Drivers: Drive the company trucks for making customer merchandise deliveries, vendor pickups, and branch transfer of merchandise, in addition to participating in the duties listed under the Material Handling Shipping/Receiving Job Summary.

Warehouse duties include: Material Handlers can take on four roles: processing, stocking, picking, and replenishing.

Processing includes unloading, checking in and labeling of product.

Stocking consists of the putting up of product in storage shelves and bins in any part of the building including the warehouse or showroom.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional communication skill with an emphasis on customer relations
  • Polite phone etiquette and legible handwriting
  • Good listening skills and customer empathy

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately with a strong attention to detail
