Position: LMP: Psychiatrist, PMHNP/DNP (Integrated Team Based Care) – Program: Integrated Team Based Care (ITBC). Location: Woodland Park Health Center – NE Portland, Oregon. Schedule: Wednesday through Friday, 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. Compensation: Varies by credential and experience – PMHNP/DNP: $74.19/hr. ($154,287/yr.) to $81.59/hr. ($169,725/yr.); Psychiatrist: $127.47/hr. ($265,107/yr.) to $140.20/hr. ($291,606/yr.)

• Determine medical necessity and appropriateness of mental health services for enrolled consumers.
• Document medical supervision of cases by signing comprehensive mental‑health assessments, updates, and individual support and service plans.
• Provide psychiatric assessments and screening of consumers’ medical needs, including lab testing.
• Consult and manage medication for consumers, including prescribing, assessing safety, effectiveness and appropriateness.
• Provide case consultation to Cascadia clinicians and participate in regular treatment‑team meetings.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation on consumer care for clinical and billing purposes.
• Work cooperatively with other treatment‑team members, external care providers, and support‑system members for the service of consumers.
• Document and maintain electronic health record (EHR) and ancillary records in compliance with agency policies and regulations.
• Provide urgent backup services for consumers when primary medical provider is unavailable.
• Assist in crisis situations following emergency protocols and coordinating with the treatment team.
• Adhere to mandatory abuse‑reporting laws and HIPAA requirements.
• Attend training, seminars, and educational opportunities to develop professional skills.
• Participate in scheduled staff meetings, supervision sessions, and other departmental and agency meetings.
• Perform CPR, First Aid, and correct use of AED equipment; maintain certification.
• Administer long‑acting injections if prescribed – training available.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education: Must hold an active state medical license (with maintenance requirements and DEA certification) OR Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for general or child/adolescent psychiatry OR an active state nursing license as a PMHNP/DNP (with maintenance requirements, DEA certification, and certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center).
• Experience: 2–5 years of clinical experience with a community mental‑health clinic population is preferred.
• Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Sufficient computer skills for timely EHR documentation; ability to provide care consistent with collaborative‑care principles and stages of change models.
• Other: Ability to perform CPR, First Aid, and use AED equipment; CPR/First Aid certifications required and must remain current.

Work is performed in a typical clinical setting. The environment is not secure; the LMP must create a safe meeting area and may be provided a private space as needed. Physical demands include escorting clients between waiting areas and meeting space. Mental demands include interacting with consumers who may present emotional or behavioral challenges; high time‑management, triage, and prioritization skills are required.
