Culinary Administrator- Glenaire
The Culinary Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the culinary and food service operations by managing financial tracking, invoice processing, and vendor communications. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy and timely financial recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets, including a primary focus on a reverse checkbook system to track expenditures and balances
  • Track, organize, and process incoming invoices with accuracy and timeliness
  • Work within corporate billing and accounting software to input, monitor, and reconcile financial data
  • Properly code invoices according to company standards and accounting practices
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and ensure all documentation is up to date
  • Communicate directly with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure prompt payment processing
  • Develop an understanding of food purchasing practices including product tracking and ordering workflows
  • Assist with monitoring budgets and identifying discrepancies or irregularities
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in administrative, accounting, or culinary support roles preferred
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounting or corporate billing systems is strongly desired
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Basic understanding of accounts payable processes
  • Familiarity with food purchasing or inventory systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Work Environment and Schedule
  • Monday through Friday schedule
