SKILLS, Inc. is looking to hire full-time, part-time, and Per diem Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Caregiver to provide supports to adults with intellectual disabilities. This direct care position earns a competitive wage of $16.78- $18.09/hour. SKILLS was born from those early organizations. We started serving only adults with intellectual disabilities. Over the last 60 years, we have added services and expanded programs. Our mission is to provide a supportive environment for employees and people receiving support. We see the individual โ€“ not a person defined by their disability, but by their dreams, aspirations, and capabilities. We see the AMAZING in everyone.


Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a group home setting or in their communities.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient observations and behaviors.
- Utilize first aid skills when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals.
- Engage in social work practices to promote a positive and supportive living environment.

FULL, PART-TIME, or PER DIEM WORK SCHEDULES

This position has various day shift, evening shift, night shift, holiday, and weekend schedules available based on the needs of the persons served and your availability. Overnight shifts from the hours of 10:00 pm - 6:00 am pay $2.50/hour more.
