Summary:
This role will support laboratory relocation projects. It is going to collaborate with our operations team, engineering resources, and customer stakeholders. This position reports to the Lab Relocation Project
Manager.

What you will do:
  • Support a moving strategy that is aligned with critical projects amp;amp; deliverables
  • Coordinate with the project team to ensure the move schedule aligns with the completion of construction
  • Follow a roadmap allowing for site readiness for each piece of equipment in scope
  • Manage the master equipment amp;amp; supplies inventory list
  • Execute the decontamination, decommissioning, packing/crating, recommissioning of existing lab equipment, computerized systems amp;amp; supplies + installation amp;amp; commissioning of new lab equipment (final scope TBD)
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and financial plans for the move
Qualifications:
Project management experience (PMP preferred)
  • Ability to multitask and self-motivate
  • Relocation project management experience (preferred)
  • MS Project knowledge
  • Lab equipment exposure
  • Understanding of how to manage vendors
  • Proven ability to develop a project plan
Education/Special Skills:
  • B.S. Degree or equivalent required
  • Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Safety Requirements:
  • Maintain a safe working environment for self and others if they come in contact within the biomed area in accordance with the facility’s policies
  • Must follow OSHA guidelines in regard to blood borne pathogens, airborne pathogens, radiation, sharp instruments and/or tools, hazardous liquids, and operating devices
  • Ontime completion of safety trainings assignments
  • Must have sensory ability to distinguish hot amp; cold ranges of temperature, surfaces, fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and detect/distinguish colors
  • Must be able be able to carry or lift up to 50 pounds routinely
