Operations Manager

Position Overview:

Key Logo Inc. is a full-service, high-volume contract decorator, specializing in screen printing, embroidery, laser engraving, and other advanced decoration methods for both soft and hard goods. We exclusively provide these services to companies in this industry. We understand the demands, deadlines, and details that come with managing client programs. Whether it’s a screen-printed hoodie, an embroidered cap, or a laser-engraved tumbler, Key Logo Inc.’s contract decorating services are the behind-the-scenes engine powering thousands of branded goods.

Key Logo Inc. is currently seeking an Operations Manager to lead our end-to-end operational functions while ensuring seamless execution of order fulfillment and process management to meet customer needs and timelines. This includes embroidery, laser engraving, and other advanced decoration methods. This newly created role will work cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and clients to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will be instrumental in supporting the company's continued growth and organizational evolution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. This position will be on-site in Hartford, WI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across production, fulfillment, logistics, and vendor management.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize operational workflows and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations.
  • Coordinate with account management, creative, and sales teams to support customer order execution.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies, troubleshoot production or fulfillment issues, and implement solutions.
  • Support inventory tracking and management maintaining accurate stock counts, conducting regular cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, printers, and fulfillment partners.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and service levels to maximize efficiency and margins.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor operational budgets, job costing, and profitability.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Develop, analyze, and present operational reports and key performance metrics to executive leadership and the Board of Directors in accordance with established reporting schedules.
  • Lead, coach, and support operations staff.
  • Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Support technology adoption, inventory systems, and workflow automation.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of senior operations management experience, preferably in industries related to promotional marketing, print, or branded merchandise.
  • Strong understanding of production, logistics, and fulfillment processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and departments simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and managing ERP and inventory management systems.

Preferred

  • Experience with promotional product sourcing and fulfillment platforms.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or process-improvement certification.
