Sales Director – IoT & Wireless Connectivity

About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing Sales Director to drive revenue growth and expand our market share within the IoT and wireless connectivity sectors. Based in the Bay Area, you will lead strategic account acquisition, manage high-value enterprise clients, and secure major design wins for our advanced cellular and connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Own and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities in the Bay Area and beyond.
  • Account Strategy: Develop and execute strategic account plans for key enterprise clients, OEMs, and Tier 1 IoT device manufacturers.
  • Ecosystem Networking: Leverage existing industry relationships to navigate complex customer organizations, engaging directly with engineering leadership and executive decision-makers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our Field Applications Engineering (FAE), Product Management, and R&D teams to align customer requirements with our product roadmap.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate, data-driven sales forecast and pipeline within the CRM to drive predictable business growth.
Position Requirements Education & Experience

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful technology sales experience, specifically within cellular, wireless modules, semiconductor, or IoT connectivity hardware.

Track Record: Proven history of securing multi-million dollar design wins and consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (a technical background is a strong plus).

Core Competencies

Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the wireless ecosystem, cellular technologies (LTE, 5G), and the IoT product lifecycle.

Strategic Selling: Mastery of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles and value-based selling methodologies.

Local Presence: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area with the ability to travel locally to visit key client sites and attend industry events.
