Job description

This is a highly strategic, execution-oriented Product Manager position reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, leading the development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of IoT-enabled products and connected platforms across multiple product lines. This role will drive end-to-end product strategy-from concept through deployment-while aligning cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that accelerate growth and enhance customer value.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Collaborate with product management, IT, and Engineering on product strategy and portfolio direction for IoT-enabled platforms, aligning long-term investments with corporate growth objectives
  • Identify market opportunities through customer insights, competitive intelligence, and emerging technology trends.
  • Establish and maintain competitive intelligence processes, including market analysis, product benchmarking, and technology assessments.
  • Develop compelling product positioning, value propositions, and commercialization strategies for IoT and digital interface solutions.
  • Drive successful product launches that deliver revenue growth, market share gains, and strong customer adoption.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to ensure clear, differentiated messaging across all channels.
  • Translate customer and operational insights into cost optimization initiatives across cloud infrastructure, embedded systems, and service delivery models.
  • Participate in product demonstrations and partner evaluations to advance adoption and strengthen market presence.
  • Lead the development of a unified UX and customer experience strategy across all digital and connected offerings.
  • Establish business cases and pricing strategies that balance equipment margin, digital recurring revenue, cloud/connectivity costs, and service economics.
  • Own connected product deployment strategy, including installation, provisioning, commissioning, and fleet rollout processes across customer locations.
  • Develop and prioritize use cases for remote monitoring, diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and service optimization.
  • Partner with cybersecurity and engineering teams to establish secure device, data, and remote-access requirements for connected solutions.
  • Drive over-the-air update strategy, device lifecycle management, and telemetry-based performance monitoring across the installed base.
  • Monitor field performance, adoption, uptime, and service outcomes to continuously improve connected product offerings.
  • Support channel, service, and sales enablement with tools, training, and value messaging tailored to commercial equipment customers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5-10+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on IoT, connected devices, or digital platforms
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling hardware/software integrated products
  • Experience with cloud platforms, data services, and IoT architectures
  • Strong financial acumen, including pricing strategy and P&L ownership
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Experience in foodservice equipment or adjacent industries
