The Sr. Manager, IoTMS Operations leads all operational activities within KOREโ€™s Westbury, NY IoT device configuration and production facility, overseeing production, quality, inventory, logistics, engineering coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, scalable, and customer-focused operations that deliver high-quality configured IoT devices on time and within budget.

The Sr. Manager, IoTMS Operations drives operational excellence across device staging, firmware loading, provisioning, testing, kitting, packaging, and fulfillment processes while supporting rapid growth, evolving customer requirements, and technology integration.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Operational Leadership

โ€ข Direct and oversee daily operations of the IoT device configuration and fulfillment facility.

โ€ข Develop operational strategies to improve efficiency, scalability, quality, and profitability.

โ€ข Establish and monitor operational KPIs, productivity goals, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

โ€ข Ensure production schedules and customer delivery commitments are consistently met.

โ€ข Lead cross-functional coordination between operations, engineering, sales, procurement, customer success, and

quality teams.

Production & Configuration Management

โ€ข Oversee all device configuration processes, including:

- Firmware loading and validation

- Device provisioning and activation

- SIM management

- Network and connectivity testing

- Customer-specific software/application configuration

- Serialization and asset tracking

โ€ข Optimize production workflows for throughput, accuracy, and traceability.

โ€ข Implement scalable operational processes to support increasing order volumes and product diversity.

โ€ข Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation across production operations.

Quality & Compliance

โ€ข Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications throughout the production lifecycle.

โ€ข Oversee quality assurance programs, inspection processes, and corrective action procedures.

โ€ข Support compliance with:

- ISO 9001 or related quality systems

- ESD handling procedures

- Customer contractual requirements

- Regulatory and safety standards

โ€ข Review operational metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous quality improvement.

Supply Chain & Inventory Oversight

โ€ข Manage inventory control processes for devices, accessories, SIM cards, and production materials.

โ€ข Improve inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and material flow efficiency.

โ€ข Oversee shipping, receiving, and fulfillment operations to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Financial & Strategic Management

โ€ข Develop and manage operational budgets, labor planning, and cost-control initiatives.

โ€ข Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

โ€ข Support executive leadership with forecasting, capacity planning, and strategic growth initiatives.

โ€ข Evaluate and implement automation technologies, software systems, and operational tools to improve scalability.

Team Leadership & Development

โ€ข Lead, mentor, and develop operations managers, supervisors, quality personnel, and production staff.

โ€ข Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.

โ€ข Establish training programs and operational standards for production teams.

โ€ข Conduct performance reviews and succession planning for operational leadership roles.

Process Improvement & Technology Integration

โ€ข Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.

โ€ข Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process optimization strategies.

โ€ข Collaborate with engineering and IT teams on:

-MES/ERP system improvements

-Automation initiatives

-Production data collection

-Traceability systems

โ€ข Standardize workflows and documentation across production operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.

โ€ข 7โ€“10+ years of operations leadership experience in manufacturing, electronics, technology, or IoT environments.

โ€ข Experience managing production operations with customer-specific configuration or assembly processes.

โ€ข Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality systems, and supply chain management.

โ€ข Experience leading cross-functional operational teams in a fast-paced environment.

โ€ข Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and scalability.

Preferred Qualifications

โ€ข Experience in IoT device manufacturing, device provisioning, telecommunications, or electronics configuration services.

โ€ข Knowledge of:
