Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Driver Recruitment is tasked with engaging all key stakeholders throughout the recruitment life cycle in order to execute the most effective recruiting strategy and drive candidate flow in a high-volume environment.

Reporting to the Vice President of Driver Relations, expectations of this role extend beyond basic recruiting fundamentals and includes oversight of floor activity, department expenditures, relations with vendors and outside schools, application flow and processing, veteran programs, and ad placement, among others.

This position supervises 30+ indoor and field recruiters.

This position is fully onsite at our Dallas, Texas headquarters.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership, coaching, and direction to teams, and conducting periodic training as needed

  • Implementing communication and reporting strategies to increase visibility

  • Building out and send daily/weekly reports to upper management

  • Utilizing TenStreet software to delegate and shift leads among the recruiting team to maximize task completion rate

  • Working directly with outside schools and veteran programs regarding new hires for driving positions

  • Monitoring compliance in accordance with regulatory policy and company protocol

  • Identifying areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of related management experience in a high-volume recruitment capacity

  • Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on delivering projected results

  • Effective interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to speak confidently about the company's business model and strategic vision

  • High degree of initiative and independent execution

  • Valid driver's license

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required

  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills This is required to drive our company cars

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

  • General knowledge of employment laws and state and federal grants regarding entry level/on the job training

  • Familiarity with DOT, FMCSA and FCRA compliance

  • Knowledge of TenStreet and AS400 systems

Work Experience:
