We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Auto Dealership Accounting/Payroll Clerk to perform payroll, accounting, and HR functions for the McGrath Lexus and Acura of Westmont locations. Experience is required. Enjoy working in our beautiful dealership with a Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Experienced auto dealership accounting/payroll clerk needed to perform auto dealership payroll, accounting, and HR functions
  • Calculate and process full cycle payrolls including tracking, answer payroll questions, and solve problems
  • Review payroll information for accuracy
  • Update payroll records
  • Meticulous record keeping a must once payrolls are processed
  • Compile data and prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, 401k contributions, etc.
  • Solve any payroll discrepancies that may arise
  • Process wage garnishments
  • Process benefit enrollments for eligible employees
  • Process background checks and employment verifications
  • Assist with other payroll and accounting tasks as needed 


 
Requirements:

  • REQUIRED: Auto dealership accounting and/or payroll experience
  • Strong computer skills, must be proficient in Excel
  • Meticulous attention to details, organized, reliable, and maintains a high level of confidentiality
  • An honest person of integrity
  • Able to work independently, adapt, and respond quickly to last minute projects
  • Experience with 401k plans, FMLA & ADA compliance laws
  • Able to work overtime as needed during month end
