Job description

Long-Lewis is currently seeking a detail-oriented Auto Vehicle Title Clerk to join our dealership’s Accounting Office. This role plays a key part in ensuring all vehicle title documentation is processed accurately and in a timely manner.

The Title Clerk will handle the preparation, submission, and follow-up of title paperwork for new, used, fleet, and wholesale vehicles, working closely with both internal departments and external agencies. Additional administrative and data entry responsibilities will support the overall success of the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process titles for all new, used, wholesale, and fleet vehicles sold or traded within the dealership group

  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all titling paperwork to the appropriate state agencies

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of titling laws, DMV processes, and filing requirements

  • Accurately input and update vehicle records in dealership systems

  • Communicate with customers, banks, and state agencies regarding title-related matters

  • Support the accounting team with various clerical and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of automotive title processing experience required

  • Prior experience in an administrative or dealership accounting office required
