Woodland Heights Senior Living is looking for a Dining Manager to join our team!

The Dining Manager reports directly to the Dining Service Director. The Dining Manager will oversee all aspects of the dining room while ensuring exceptional service, ambiance, and will create memorable experiences for our residents. The Dining Manager will work in accordance with expectations set by the Dining Service Director and ensure seamless daily operations while we provide quality service to seniors.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Maintain and enforce high service standards for our servers, like proper table settings and uniform.
  • Monitor reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining room efficiency and resident satisfaction.
  • Assist Dining Manager in planning and implementing training programs for servers.
  • Oversee inventory of dining room supplies such as linens, glassware, flatware, and equipment.
  • Ensure Bistro area is stocked, cleaned, and in an orderly fashion.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment that emphasizes teamwork and excellence.

Education/Experience/Certification:

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Experience with seniors preferred but not required.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Must be tactful, patient, and courteous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically able to stand, bend, and push.
  • Physically able to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
