Job Summary

This is a mission-critical leadership role at the heart of Equinix’s AI-first transformation.

As Director, Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for translating the digital and AI strategy into enterprise-wide adoption, ensuring digital and agentic solutions and new ways of working are successfully embedded across the organization. You will lead the people side of transformation—driving change strategy, enablement, adoption, culture activation, and sustainable change at global scale.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring a unique combination of transformation expertise, strategic thinking, executive influence, and hands-on execution. Success will be measured not by strategy alone, but by measurable adoption, sustained change and business impact.

What You'll Do

Lead Enterprise Digital Transformation

  • Own the change and adoption strategy for Equinix's Digital transformation journey.

  • Translate transformation goals into clear, scalable plans that drive awareness, adoption, and lasting behavior change.

  • Identify organisational impacts, dependencies, and barriers, implementing effective mitigation strategies to accelerate transformation outcomes.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing priorities, decisions, and execution across the transformation portfolio.

Drive Enablement and Capability Building

  • Design and lead role-based enablement programs that build practical digital and AI fluency across the enterprise.

  • Design and scale enablement experiences, content, and engagement channels that drive adoption, capability building, and business performance.

  • Equip leaders and people managers to effectively lead teams through change and model new ways of working.

Measure Adoption and Business Impact

  • Establish adoption measurement frameworks, landing assurance practices, and feedback mechanisms that provide clear insight into transformation progress and effectiveness.

  • Analyze adoption trends, sentiment, and engagement data to continuously improve transformation outcomes.

  • Ensure initiatives are successfully embedded and delivering intended value before scaling further across the organization.

Activate Culture and Community

  • Build and scale a network of transformation champions, advocates, and early adopters across Equinix.

  • Foster communities, recognition programs, and storytelling mechanisms that reinforce behaviors and sustain transformation momentum.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation, change, adoption, or business transformation initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale technology-enabled transformation programs from strategy through sustained adoption and measurable business outcomes.

  • Proven experience leading adoption, enablement, and behavioral change initiatives across complex organizations.

  • Strong executive presence with a track record of influencing senior leaders and driving decisions in global, matrixed environments.

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, storytelling, and change leadership capabilities.

  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise-wide learning and enablement programs that drive measurable behavioral change.

Preferred

  • Experience leading AI, automation, digital workplace, or enterprise technology transformation initiatives.

  • Experience operating within large global organizations undergoing significant business and technology transformation.

  • Experience in technology, digital infrastructure, cloud, data center, or other large-scale technology-driven environments.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 155,000 - 233,000 USD / Annual

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 166,000 - 248,000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
